Inora Insulation
The Inora Luonto Floor product family is a groundbreaking new product that reduces CO2 emissions by up to 80%, with a carbon footprint of less than 0.
The Inora Luonto Floor product family includes two products:
Inora Luonto Grafit 80S Floor
Inora Luonto EPS 100 Floor
In addition to their low carbon content, both products have excellent thermal and mechanical properties, and they are 100% recyclable.
Your choice affects the carbon footprint of construction.
In Inora Luonto floor insulation, traditional fossil oil has been replaced with bio-oil. The CO2 emissions from this raw material are significantly lower than those of traditional plastic grades, by as much as 80%. The plant mass of the bio-oil used in the raw material comes from bio-waste from European contract suppliers. The production of bio-oil does not use palm oil or plants or plant parts used for food, but rather plant tops, peels, and other plant parts that would otherwise go to waste.
The BMB (BioMass Balanced) raw material used in our Luonto products was developed by BASF, and Inora was among the first companies in the world to bring products made from it to the market. Be part of building a more sustainable tomorrow by choosing Inora Luonto floor insulation. Luonto products are 100% recyclable in standard plastic recycling.
You can find more detailed information on the BMB material of Inora Luonto products on the raw material manufacturer's website here.
Insulates well against heat and cold.
Insulation performance does not degrade during its lifespan.
Insulation capacity improves as the temperature drops.
Resistant to load and compression.
Has good long-term load-bearing capacity, so it is also suitable for heavily loaded structures.
Highly moisture-resistant and does not conduct water by capillary action. For frost insulation, we recommend Inora Routa and Inora Infra insulation.
Dampens the effects of mechanical stress, such as vibration and impacts.
Does not mold or rot.
Resistant to organic chemicals.
Easy to work with and handle.
Can be cut with a fine-toothed saw, knife, or hot wire.
Can be glued, e.g., with urethane or water-based glue.
Can be coated, e.g., with latex paint and urethane and epoxy resin.
Inora Luonto EPS 100 Floor is the right choice for the thermal insulation of ground-supported subfloor structures. In Finland, a ground-supported slab is the most common and proven functional subfloor solution, and the surface structure installed on it can be, for example, wood, parquet, laminate, carpet, or tile.
A well-insulated and warm floor increases living comfort and keeps energy consumption in check. When determining the floor insulation thickness, the chosen heating method should also be considered. Underfloor heating raises the slab's temperature and increases heat loss to the ground, so it is advisable to increase the floor insulation thickness if the building is not already insulated to a passive level.

Inora Luonto Grafit 80S Floor is the right choice for insulating hollow-core slabs and other ventilated subfloors. With Inora Grafit insulation, you can achieve up to 20-25% better energy efficiency than with traditional insulation. The product is fire-protected.
Large boards are easy and fast to install. Insulation is even easier when the boards are cut to the site's dimensions, i.e., customized. In this case, the boards have pre-made openings, bevels, reductions, grooves, and spots for supports without any waste pieces. The boards in the delivery are packed in installation order. Ask our salespeople for more information on customization.
